Directors of Volunteers in Agencies is an organization dedicated to providing opportunities for networking and training for volunteer coordinators, volunteer managers, volunteer administrators, plus any organizations, companies and individuals who work with volunteers. |
What We Do |
DOVIA schedules networking and training meetings approximately every 2 months at various locations in Northwest Ohio. DOVIA also provides a full-day conference at the end of the calendar year with intensive training workshops on a variety of skills for volunteer management including: technology tools, legal aspects of volunteer management, recruiting, recognition, and more.
Membership is free. To join please sign up for our mailing list. Professional Development Unit (PDUs) are available for each workshop. These serve as helpful documentation for certifications such as the Certified Volunteer Administrator (CVA) certification. |
